Rod is telling the story about Jens Schmidt, who as a young boy knew the dykers, and now at the ripe age of 94, his tale of Larsen, the only survivor of the August 1923 disaster is the basis of the Dykers song on the Seascape CD. Jens unfortunately couldn't be at the CD launch. He had been on a daytrip to Esbjerg, to have his pacemaker adjusted ...
